With effect from June 1st 2006 Mr. Werner Schüßler assumes his position as the new Managing Director of Lufthansa Consulting. His business home base will be Frankfurt, MAC/Main Airport Center.

Mr. Schüßler started his Lufthansa career in the Data Processing Department in Frankfurt in 1971. In 1977 he joined German Cargo Services GmbH, in 1986 he was appointed Commercial Director and in 1993 Deputy Managing Director.

In January 1994 Mr. Schüßler assumed management of Controlling and three years later he established the Strategy Department of Lufthansa Cargo AG. In January 1999 he took over the responsibility for world-wide handling processes. Two years later he was appointed Director of the Business Unit Global Cargo Handling Services.

With effect from 1st January 2005 Mr Schüßler was appointed Head of Production of Lufthansa Cargo.

With profound logistics expertise and extensive experience in international management Werner Schüßler took on his present position as Managing Director of Lufthansa Consulting GmbH.
