Project description

The Government of Burkina Faso intends to privatize the airport of Ouagadougou and move the operations from the existing city airport to the new planned airport site of Tabtenga, located approximately 30 km outside the capital city.

The Government of Burkina Faso has contracted Lufthansa Consulting to prepare the airport feasibility study. The aim is to develop an operationally as well as economically feasible and sustainable airport infrastructure as well as operational models and a privatization scenario in order to improve and promote air service to and from Burkina Faso.
